Tropical Glam Elopement in Villa Montalvo, California

Danni and Nick’s wedding theme is “Tropical glam” as they love to visit Hawaii.

As they show preference towards the aesthetic accents of gold and white paint, hand painted watercolor art: Impressionist flowers, architecture of the wedding venue (Villa Montalvo – Saratoga, CA) , they like tropical details, e.g. tropical flowers (clivia, heleconia, plumeria, ginger lily), monstera and banana leaves, etc.

I studied the tropical elements and painted it as a ‘leaves frame’ to the venue, which creates a feeling of a tropical oasis. The couple also like modern typography, so I combined the hand-painted art with a clean typography.
