Pricing
All pricing listed on this website and online shop are in Hong Kong Dollars.

Payment
If you choose to book with Daylight Letters the following payment schedules must be adhered to:
– Please note quotes are valid for 30 days.
For bespoke wedding stationery orders, full payment of design fee is required before any design work takes place. The printing cost will be calculated after you approved the design.
For rush orders, you may required to pay full payment for me to purchase the papers and materials.
For other orders(keepsake stationery, paintings & calligraphy orders), you are required to pay in full the cost of your order.

Design
We put a lot of love and effort in our designs and elements are intentionally crafted to best fit the whole aesthetic and quality of our products and services. Due to the nature of hand painted artwork, we do not offer any major changes, such as typography, illustration, painting, and calligraphy styles.
It takes a long time to process, digitalize, and difficult to make big changes, so I will communicate with you clearly before I start to work. A clear draft will be shown to you for your approval.

Proofs
Once approval has been received your stationery will be printed. Daylight Letters takes no responsibility for any spelling mistakes. If errors are discovered after proof approval you will be charged for the time to rework and reprint.
Please note that the longer your proofing rounds take the longer your completion date will be pushed back. I estimate the completion time of each order based on my workflow at that time. If proofs or information is not turned around in a timely fashion then your order may be subject to interruption from other orders. Semi-Custom order includes one round of text revision; bespoke order includes one initial concept and three rounds of simple revisions, so we can revise and edit as needed before going to print. This includes a final proof for sign off before print. Each additional round of revisions has a cost of HKD$800.

Calligraphy
Calligraphy is a form of art. Our calligraphy is handwritten and therefore, some variances in the appearance of the letterforms, spacing, and flourishing may occur. Names, words or phrases will vary depending on the letters and length. This applies to ALL of our stationery goods that use calligraphy script styles. Each hand-addressed envelope will also vary depending on the letters, the length and arrangement of names, and address lengths.

Cancellations & Refunds
Due to the custom nature of our work, a refund of your deposit will only be granted within 24 hours of it being received AND only if we have not progressed with ordering your material and commenced designing your artwork.

A final and clear approval is required when you receive the final digital proof of your order. Beyond this point, any changes will have additional fees. If there is a printing error made on my part, I will either reprint the paper goods or provide a credit for the misprint. If there is an error with the wording that was approved by the client, the costs of reprinting must be covered by the client.

No refunds will be given for change of mind, or in the event of a cancelled event due to personal reasons or as a result of unforeseen circumstances, once payment has been made.

Postage and handling are not refundable.

Variations
Handmade Papers:
Our handmade papers are made by hand in small batches. This means that there may be size, shape, weight, texture and color variations from piece to piece. These imperfections are a part of the paper’s unique charm. To ensure that we have consistent handmade paper supplies for our clients, we work with several handmade paper suppliers whose product aesthetic may vary slightly from the images displayed on our website.

Letterpress Printing:
Our letterpress printing process features matte inks that are hand-mixed by eye. Therefore, please expect at least a 10% variation from your chosen colors which is the industry standard. Letterpress ink color variations can also be due to the way individual handmade paper absorbs the ink.

Color
Colors may vary slightly depending on your computer’s display color and brightness. We do our very best to show the most accurate representation of invitation suites and other wedding stationery and products. Printed color may slightly differ to what is seen on-screen.
